Our Team & Staff

We are dedicated to the idea of delivering the best team of facility hands in the country. Instead of assuming a “big” attitude we have chosen to concentrate on quality and dependability. Our emphasis day to day is on refining a capable and adaptable company which can safely complete projects tailored to meet our clients’ specific requirements. In turn, we don’t try to be the biggest – we aim to be the best.

Jarrett McKean – Chief Operating Officer

Jarrett originally started off as a ticketed B-pressure welder, and with over 15 plus years in oilfield construction/fabrication experience. He started his apprenticeship in 1999 in a shop environment building flare stacks, which helped him to build a comprehensive background in stainless steel welding. Jarrett’s hard work and expertise began to show during his apprenticeship where he won multiple awards through Skills Canada. He then completed his journeyman / B-pressure certification later in 2001.

Over the years Jarrett has gathered extensive experience in both pressure piping and structural fabrication, small bore and large bore, for both facility and pipeline construction which include projects such as compressor and dehy installations, heavy oil facilities, refrigeration plants, heavy oil well pads, pipeline risers / tie ins and tank farm set ups throughout Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan.  In 2004 he began expanding his own business and equipment lineup by purchasing and setting up multiple welding rigs where he employed and trained apprentices from start to finish with their own B-pressure designation.

In 2009 Jarrett would jump into the start-up and partnership of Vise Energy Services Ltd. Since then, he has taken a leading role in the field and shop management, contract review, scheduleing and procurement of all projects Vise gets its hands on.  Jarrett continues to use his extensive field experience and overall knowledge of the oilfield industry to make Vise Energy Services Ltd. one of the most innovative companies’ in the oil and gas industry while ensuring their quality of work and safety are held to the highest standards.

Jeremy Reardan – President

Jeremy has 17 plus years of field experience where he has held several field positions. He started as a welder’s helper/labourer, moved onto journeyman pipefitter, supervisor and then made the jump to project management. Over time, Jeremy started to develop a very comprehensive line of skill sets and experience in small and large bore, facility, pipeline and maintenance contracts. This is backed by a Red Seal Steam and Gas Fitter II certification that started back in 1997 and was completed in 2003 and his CWB welding supervision certification. He has a keen understanding of what variables and components are essential for successful project execution from start to finish. Some projects that Jeremy has developed extensive expertise in are compressor and dehy installations, heavy oil facilities, refrigeration plants, heavy oil well pads, plant turnarounds/shut downs, pipeline riser/pigging stations and tank farm set ups throughout Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan.

Within Vise, Jeremy oversees both the companies field and shop operations and shares duties with contract development and review, business development, scheduling of the projects and procurement.   This is where his expertise proves to be an added asset to those around him, as he is a great mentor for all employees and contractors within Vise Energy Services Ltd.   His ultimate goal is developing long lasting working relationships and overall customer satisfaction. It’s because of this goal and Jeremy’s attention to detail that will ensure Vise Energy Services Ltd. is a top facility and pipeline construction company in Western Canada for many years to come.
